New Cactus Quills of Arizona invites select amateurs and professionals to a small...very small, friendly writing critique group. We have no trouble getting numbers... it's dedication and commitment we want !

With a modest number of writers, the group often maintains a balanced mix of published and soon-to-be published writers.

Since 2002, the group has attracted publishers, poets, writing instructors, journalists and communication consultants. Many have gone on to publish--at least 9!

While a number of the writing partners are professional writers, we specialize in the writer who has a completed a manuscript and wants to publish. ( Hobbyist need not apply! ). Because of its objectives, the writing group no longer accepts novice writers without a manuscript .
